Identity of Vandalism Suspects Sought

An unknown man and woman vandalized a coin machine at a local laundromat this week. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help to identify the two suspects.

CCSO Deputy J.T. Shaw received a call regarding the vandalism at 8:59 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from co-owner Jeremy Chowning. Mr. Chowning and Tony Wilson, the other owner, discovered the damaged change machine the morning of Sept. 18. The perpetrators took approximately $400 in coins from Suds N Duds Laundromat, 208 Highland Avenue.

A white man and white woman were caught on surveillance camera inside the laundromat between 11:45 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17 and 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18. The man is significantly taller than the woman.
